“This is the second time we have used MediPulse to deliver First Aid training to our staff and volunteers. Richard delivered a great course and was both personable and professional which created a great learning environment for all those who attended. We will definitely be using MediPulse as our First Aid provider in years to come and would highly recommend their courses!”

“I wanted to say that I thought that the First Response training event that I attended on the 15th May was the best one that I have ever taken part in. I thought that the presentation that the Trainer gave was made more interesting and relevant by the examples he gave to explain the various issues we could experience.”

“I was needing a one day First Aid at Work course (Forestry) and had a thoroughly helpful training session with Richard. This was comprehensive and full of practical advice based on his own work in the Ambulance service. Having a trainer who has experienced and can communicate the reality of practicing first aid shouldn’t be understated. I left feeling confident with my training, and that makes all the difference.”

“I attended the practical First Response training today at 3pm and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it – Richard made it really engaging and fun. He was brilliant. Having attended a number of these trainings over the years, he is by far the best trainer I have had!”

St Georges Infant School

We cannot recommend Richard’s training highly enough. He was engaging, very relevant and shared lots of new information that experienced first aiders were not already aware of. An excellent course, we will definitely be using Richard again in the future.

We researched various trainers to find the course specific to our needs and Richard delivered exactly what we wanted. Having agreed to tailor the course the training, supported by ‘real-world’ anecdotes and realistic practical tests received an enthusiastic response from our staff who agreed that this was the best training they had attended.

Richard is a professional facilitator, very knowledgeable and there was a host of practical information delivered. Richard made the training appropriate to the setting and included strategies and methods that will be easy to remember and use in a real life setting. His experience, expertise and skills are highly beneficial to anyone completing this course.

A brilliant course, well presented through a variety of mediums and with humour and a real insight into the job. I left confident that I would be able to administer first aid should the need arise.

Richard has delivered many First Aid workshops for Family and Community Leaning. He is a professional tutor whose wide knowledge and experience of First Aid gives our learners the confidence and knowledge and skills to be confident to ‘do something’ in an emergency situation. The sessions are very informative, and delivered in a way that captivates and engages our leaners.

The most informative first aid course I have ever attended. We were made to feel very relaxed and were encouraged to ask questions throughout. Came away feeling very confident in what we had been taught. I’d highly recommend Medipulse training .

The first aid training I’m please to say was very good, I felt much more confident afterwards in my knowledge of CPR and reassured in my ability to respond in an emergency because the presenter was approachable, a good role model of how to deal an emergency situation drawing from a wealth of expertise without overwhelming the audience with information.
The trainer paced the session so that it best met the needs of the group (some people have been on a lot of training whilst others not) and listened to issues commonly arising with different age girls/sections. He expertly gauged when more time was needed to explain techniques in CPR demonstrations and ensured everyone clearly understood that the focus was to prevent injury as much as key important life saving actions. As a result the course was well balanced and finished on time.
I would highly recommend using this trainer again for future first response courses.

I recently attended a course with Richard Edwards, his first for Girlguiding.
He was extremely welcoming, and if he was nervous, he certainly didn’t let on! He gave us his history, which although varied, meant that he knew his topic well, and as a result we all felt safe in his hands! We had a lot of ground to cover in a short space of time, but he did it in such an informative way, that it never felt like an overload. We were able to put our skills into practice too, where he put us all at ease. I would definitely recommend his training to other organisations, especially as he also offered visits for units to cover basic first aid, complete with ambulance (availability permitting!), something I know the girls would love. He is an excellent communicator, who was able to answer any question thrown at him, of which there were many!
I look forward to seeing him again in three years!

Thank you so much for organising the First Aid training for our group. Richard, the first aid instructor was really good and the entire session was very informative. All the attendees enjoyed the training. It was done in a very dignified manner specially when the attendees were from Asian communities. All the demonstrations were also very good.

Richard recently provided a Basic First Aid Course for 6 of our club members, all of which found the course and the manner in which Richard delivered the information, both informative and enjoyable. Richard’s manner put us all at ease which allowed the training to progress at a speed suitable to all. I would have no hesitation in recommending Richard (i.e. MediPulse Training) to anyone who needs the training services offered.
