This privacy notice provides you with details of how we handle your personal data. We will respect the privacy of your information and will only use your personal information in accordance with the current data protection law in the UK in the way described in this policy. By providing us with information you are stating that you are over 16 years of age.
It is important that the information that we hold is kept up to date. Please contact us should your personal information change or should you wish for us to delete such information that we hold.
What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?
MediPulse advertises by leaflet and website, accordingly we regard enquiries and course bookings / attendance as your active consent. We use our contact form and incoming telephone calls to collect personal data such as name, email address; telephone number and organisations people are contacting on behalf of, as appropriate.
Any personal data collected and retained is used for keeping a record of enquiries, those booking and attending courses (for certificate reasons) and for customer services after courses are completed to advise customers when refreshers are required, certificates expire etc.
We will not use the information submitted for any other purposes other than those outlined in the above paragraph. HMRC has the legal right to access financial information that we hold.
Data referring to enquiries that do not result in a subsequent course will be held for no longer that six months
Who do we share your personal data with?
First Aid Certificates are issued in conjunction with Protrainings Europe Limited, Colchester Essex. (email@example.com), this necessitates our sending this company your name and email address. Apart from this we will not share any of your personal data with anyone outside of MediPulse Training. We will not use your data for any marketing purposes.
How long do we retain your information?
We use your data primarily for contact with you whilst arranging courses, certificates and invoices etc. We will keep such data until certificates expire and refresher courses may be required. If no such course is booked, and accounting and HMRC requirements have been fulfilled (normally six years), relevant personal data will be destroyed.
We treat all personal data with respect and we are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information that we collect.
